Ipswich Youth Soccer Travel league promotes and fosters the game of soccer by providing players the opportunity to experience the game of soccer, continually develop soccer skills and participate in a controlled competitive environment. We strive to promote sportsmanship and character in our players, coaches, parents and fans.
PLEASE NOTE: Although the IYS Travel Board and Coaches try to make sure everyone makes a team, there is the possibility that, owing to space limitations, some children will not. ECYSA limits the numbers of players each team can have on its roster. Participation on a Travel Team requires a commitment from players to play in both the fall season and the spring season. Players should not tryout if they cannot make this commitment.
- You will tryout for U12 if you were born between August 1, 1996
and July 31, 1998 - You will tryout for U14 if you were born between August 1, 1994

U10 Boys:

U10 Girls:
no travel teams in this age group
U12 Boys:
Thursday, May 29, 4:30-5:30pm
Sunday, June 1, 11:00-12:30pm
U12 Girls:
Tuesday, June 3, 6:00-7:30pm
Wednesday, June 11, 6:00-7:30pm
U14 Boys:
Thursday, May 29, 6:00-7:30pm
Sunday, June 1, 9:30-11:00am
U14 Girls:
Tuesday, May 27, 6:00-7:30pm
Wednesday, May 28, 6:00-7:30pm
Where: All tryout sessions will be held at Raymond Fields on Route 133, across from Candlewood Golf Course.
- Parental consent is required for tryouts.
- Each player MUST bring his or her own soccer ball, shin guards and water.
- Each player is encouraged to attend both sessions if possible, but we are aware of conflicting events.
Returning Travel Players:
- All current Travel players are required to tryout, even if you are not moving up in age group. If you cannot make the tryout session, you must contact either the Girls Director ( Tom Hammond at akemmerer8982@comcast.net) or the Boys Director ( John Mulkerin at 978-356-0363 or johnmulkerin@gmail.com)
Basic registration fees cover the fall 2007 and spring 2008 seasons. This fee does not include uniform costs.
- Fee for 1st player in the family: $120.00
- Fee for 2nd player in the family: $105.00
- Fee for 3rd player in the family: $90.00
- Full Uniform Price: $65.00
REGISTRATION FEES, COPIES OF BIRTH CERTIFICATES, AND PHOTOS OF PLAYERS WILL BE COLLECTED/TAKEN DURING REGISTRATION, NOT AT TRYOUTS.
Scholarships are available.
